Administration

Principal Nicole Williams

Nicole Williams, Principal

My name is Nicole Williams and I am honored to serve as the principal at Johnson Elementary.  This is my twelfth year in education, eighth year at Johnson, and first year as the campus principal.  Prior to this role, I served as the assistant principal at Johnson for seven years, which is how I developed a deep love for this campus and our community.  It's truly a privilege to serve the students, families, and staff of Johnson Elementary.  I love what I do!

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Oklahoma and a Master's in Educational Leadership from the University of North Texas.  Prior to serving in campus leadership, I taught 4th grade in Coppell ISD and 6th grade in Carroll ISD.

My family is my pride and joy.  My husband, Ryan, and I are high school sweethearts, together for almost 20 years, and voted Most Likely to Get Married at Grapevine High School in 2009, with our dream coming true in 2014.  We have been blessed by two little children whom I love more than anything in the world - a daughter, Emersen (4) and a son, Everett (2).  I am a mom first, and I am proud of how that influences my leadership, relationships, and decisions at our school.

Johnson Elementary is a special community of talented, caring educators and supportive, invested parents and families.  It is an honor to lead such a wonderful school!

Andrea Powers

Andrea Powers, Assistant Principal

Hello JES families!  My name is Andrea Powers and I'm so excited to join Johnson Elementary as the new Assistant Principal this year.  I look forward to getting to know our staff, students, and families and upholding the rich traditions and excellence that make JES a special place.

I hold a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University, a Master of Science from the University of Southern Mississippi, and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas at Arlington.  I join Carroll ISD with 26 years of experience in elementary education, including 21 years as a classroom teacher and 5 years as an administrator, all in Arlington ISD.

On a personal note, I'm a proud mom to three amazing sons.  My oldest lives in Montana with his fiancée and their sweet baby girl - my first granddaughter.  My middle son is a senior at Texas A&M, and my youngest is a sophomore at the University of Arkansas.  I love all sports (especially college football - Gig "Em), love reading and traveling, and enjoy a creative or DIY project when I have the time.

I'm deeply passionate about supporting students, empowering teachers, and creating a campus culture where everyone feels valued and inspired to grow.

My door is always open, so don't hesitate to drop by and introduce yourself, and please let me know how I can support you and your student this year.  I'm looking forward to a successful and wonderful first year as a Dragon.

Lindsay Bailey, Counselor

My name is Lindsay Bailey and I am the School Counselor at Johnson Elementary.  This is my third year at JES and my eighth year in education.  Prior to this, I was a social worker, specifically working with children aging of out Foster Care in Oklahoma.  I love serving children and families and find great joy in partnering with you to make your child's experience at Johnson one that they will not only enjoy but also look back on with fondness!

I have my Bachelor's Degree in Christian Caregiving and Counseling from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and my Master's Degree in Human Relations (on the License of Professional Counseling Track) from the University of Oklahoma.  Before landing in Carroll ISD, I was at Eanes ISD in West Lake Hills, Texas, at Valley View Elementary.  While in Oklahoma, I started my career as a School Counselor in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, at Sequoyah Middle School, then worked at Monte Cassino School in Tulsa.

While being a School Counselor is awesome, my favorite titles are wife and mom.  I am married to Seth and our love story actually started about 20 years ago at ORU.  We had the same friends, but like the movie Serendipity, we always "just missed" each other.  It would be about 10 - 12 years later when we would reconnect through emails and end up on a 3 hour long date where it was pretty much decided we were going to be together for a very long time!  We have two boys - Drew (4) and Brady (2).  We recently added a furry friend to our family, sweet Daisy, our perfectly toasted Golden Retriever.  When not at school, I'm with my family, swimming, playing with Hot Wheels or Monster Trucks, coloring, playing outside, anything where we are together and able to enjoy each other.

I have loved this community since I arrived two, almost three years ago.  You all welcomed me with open arms, and I am forever blessed by that.  I look forward to partnering with your and serving your family.

Daisy Bailey, Therapy Dog

I'm Daisy Bailey, and I am in training to be the Counseling Partner at JES!  I love EVERYONE (especially if you give me bacon flavored treats) and love hugs, kisses and belly rubs.  I am still too young to work in my mom's office with kids, but I am going to training in September to be able to attend school calmly and appropriately.  I expect to be a full partner by the fall of 2026.  Until then, I will be at school from time to time.  Can't wait to meet you!
